Refunds and failed jobs
When credits come back on their own, and how to ask for a refund of a payment.
Credits that come back on their own
- A line that fails to generate.
- A writing assistant action that fails.
- A transcription or clean-up the provider refuses; otherwise it's settled to the media's real length.
- Sound effects: only the sounds actually made are charged.
- A voice design that's refused.
- A dub that fails, or that hasn't finished after three hours.
Stopping a dub yourself doesn't give its credits back: the work was already paid for when it started.
Refunding a payment
Refunds of payments are handled by a person. Write to us with your account email and what happened, and we'll reply within a business day.
