Find and choose a voice
Search the voice library by language, gender and quality, play samples, and set the voice every new project starts with.
Searching the library
Voices lists every voice with a sample to play. Filter by language, by voice (female, male, neutral) and by quality: Ultra and Pro voices are the most natural and most cost 1.5 credits a word (a few cost 5); Core voices cost 1. Each card shows the price.
Ability chips narrow it to voices that support what you need: emotions, pauses and emphasis, pronunciation, pitch, several languages, or word timings. Favourites and the compare tray help you shortlist; favourites are kept in this browser.
Setting your default voice
- 1Open Settings.
- 2Under Defaults, choose Voice for new projects.
- 3New projects start with it. Clear it to go back to Leelo's choice.
Changing a speaker's voice in a project doesn't change your default, and the other way round.
