Clone your own voice

1. 1Open Voice cloning.
2. 2Record, or upload up to five recordings (25 MB in all): a minute or two of clear speech is enough.
3. 3Tick the consent box: you are the speaker, or have the speaker's permission.
4. 4Name the voice and press Make the voice.

Getting a good clone

• A quiet room and a steady distance from the microphone.
• Speak the way you want the voice to sound: the clone copies the delivery as well as the voice.
• No music, no other voices. Clean up a noisy recording first.

Cloning needs Starter or above, and costs no credits. Speech in your own voice costs 5 credits a word, and own voices ignore marks such as emphasis (pauses are kept as silence). The consent is kept with the voice; the recording is deleted with it.
